COVINGTON— Lulu V. Hunt, 78, a life resident of Fountain County, died at 2 a.m. Sunday at her home, 417 Sixth St. She had lived in the Covington area 53 years and in the city since 1958. An only child, she was born Sept. 12, 1886 in Wabash Township to Morris and Dora Frankeberger VanDorn. She married Thornton E. Hunt Oct. 29, 1912. He died Jan. 31, 1954. Surviving are a son, Donald Hunt, at home, and several cousins. Another son, Harold, is deceased. Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Covington Methodist Church, Win-One Sunday School class, WSCS and Troy Home Demonstration Club. Funeral rites are set for 2 p.m. EST Tuesday at the church here, where the body will lie in state beginning at 1 p.m. Rev. Donald Ashley will officiate, and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Monday. --typed by Walt W
